Student Council members collected items from students to send to those effected by the hurricanes around the country. Click here to see our flyer!
Pep Rallies!
Student Council members design portions of the school Pep Rallies and produce results to help get the students excited for the game later that day!
Turkey Teacher!
Student Council members sell turkey feathers to their fellow classmates in the morning and during lunch. The students purchase feathers to help their favorite teacher get the most feathers. At the end of the contest, the teacher with the most feathers will win a prize!
Holiday Open House!
Student Council Members will help to kick off the holiday season by joining the Main Street member shops for festive Sunday shopping and strolling downtown and around Batesville, Mississippi. Shoppers will travel from store to store to get decorating items and ideas along with special gifts for everyone on their holiday list their will also be sampling of various goodies. The Student Council members will help to decorate and make ornaments from 12 - 5. Sign up to volunteer here:
Go Jim Go!
Student Council Members helped to raise $1000.00 for Go Jim Go! in which "News Channel 3 Meteorologist, Jim Jaggers, rides his bicycle 333 miles across the Mid-South raising money for Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital."

Scare on the Square!
Student Council members handed out tokens and helped to judge the city Halloween costume contest!
They were VERY complimentary of the kids who helped at Scare on the Square - two different people pulled me aside to say how wonderful they did and what a big difference it was having their help. They both said “great group of kids!”" Lisbeth
Sporting Events
Student Council members volunteer to work at various school sporting events throughout the year.
Christmas Ball!!
Student Council members will be hosting a Christmas Ball during the first week of December! All 6th grade and 7th grade classes are invited to attend! Tickets will be sold during the mornings at school.
Christmas w/ Seniors!
Student Council members will visit a local Senior Facility to help them celebrate the the Thanksgiving holiday. The members will decorate, play games, make cards and have a dance party!
Teacher Dinner Servers
Student Council members will help serve dinner to tested area teachers during a special service.
BJHS Football Jamboree
Student Council members will help sell concessions and promote team spirit at the jamboree!!
